Thinking about selling my DR350 so I can get some cash together for another bike.
Will post pics in the morning after I give her a bath.
Possibly some of the others too.
DR500 might be up for grabs also. (Will need to do the valves before the sale.)

Able to dish out the cash... all depends on your price... some of us are poor folks

Hmmmm . I see.
No bike issues besides needing new tires soon.
Bought it a while back have been working on it here and there.

When I got it, the guy who sold it to me said "it didn't run"
I cleaned the carb( had to drill out the pumper thingy)
replaced the throttle cables, replaced the rubber that holds the light up and she runs like a champ. I sanded the tank due to scratches from limbs and falling in the dirt.
Even has the offroad only title. Never seen one before. lol
Will get the pics soon.
Forgot before I left for work

The bike is at Airline Motorcycles in Houston for the weekend.
Having Andre look her over for any issues that I might have missed.
This way I will be confident in saying there is nothing wrong.
I always have trouble selling bikes because I want the new owner to be as happy as I am with them.
This is hard to do because I am always so darn excited to have a new-to-me bike.
All the work needed when I bought her has been done my me and now there will be a professional double checking it.

Ok, How do I get to Houston?
Has it been tagged and inspected?
PM sent

Re: Any interest in a 98 DR350 Dirt Model?

The DR350 is back from the shop , with a clean bill of health.
New brass in the carb and new fluids all around.
Took it out today, so she is a little dirty.
I would go clean her but I am afraid I would be too tempted not to sell if I go out there again.
Fly has dibs
I don't think TossingLead wants her because she is not street legal but I will make sure.

Ok,
kinda had some bites but no one has come out to see her yet.

the price is already too low and I can not go lower

Thinking about dealing with stupid CL next week.
I will hold out for a little longer but kinda waiting to sell so I can get some cash for a head job I need to finish. (get your mind out of the gutter)

Even has the offroad only title. Never seen one before.

"My" TW200 had a title marked offroad only - and a current plate - when your Mom bought it in Austin lo these four (or whatever) years ago. I had the designation removed when I reassigned the title; the gals at the courthouse never blinked.

Remember, besides a title, to be street legal in Texas you need a headlight with high beam and indicator, horn, and both tail and brake lights. Not much more. Turn signals are optional, but must work if present.

Good luck with the sale - I'm going to try to get the Rokon plated, with its blistering 6.6 horsepower, so I can legally ride it on the beach!

Sorry for the hijack...see you next time!
