Faisal and I are going to run a mock enduro at Muenster. We are going to start at 8.01. Ride 30 miles simulating full enduro situations with stops etc. Have a little lunch and then head out and do another 15 miles afterwards.

Get your fuzzy butt out there and lets ride brudda! I want to see Robby bite the big one on the RM !!!

Hey mate, I really don't want to ride RR. Never have as no one raves about the place. Just want to get some good hard riding in without having to stop and fu fu around. Need to put some long seat time in to prep for the Enduro.
Here is a link the Faisal posted up. I guess it is a new place. Have you heard about this place:

Let me know mate if you get a new little 2-stroke monster!!

Is robby redneck going to ride this weekend or is he going to go knitting with Massey and Greg T. ?? LOL

Boomer, where are you and Loweed thinking about going? I want to ride on Sunday.
I'm doing a shakedown ride with Andrew on Saturday to prep for Arkansas and then going to Supercross Saturday night.

I left you a vmail too.

You going to Supercross? Got tickets already? What section if you do?

Thats the place Massey kept "poohpooh'ing". Might give him a call and ask.

Well, there is nothing like Muenster. From the description Twin Hills looks like to be the next best in a sence that there are 20+ miles of newly cut wooded/rocky/somewhat technical trails and it's right next to Bridgeport (1 hour away). Scott "The Toolman" Whitman is riding his XR650 up there, Amber, David Calligan and Andy are also coming, should be tons of fun.

Darren, you riding or trailering to Ar?

Riding Faisal. Haven't made plans with Andrew for the Friday departure yet though.
He's leary of large groups as am I so we might hook up with just a couple of other people and take a little different route up.

Hehe, maybe because he got left behind a few times. Friday's groups will be small and multiple + based on pace, we'll see you there.

Well, I'm certainly no speed demon and would likely get left behind as well. Racing to keep up I don't mind in the bush, not willing to do it on the road.

Word to the wise. Twenty minutes and you'll be done with Twin Hills. Not worth the drive.

Twin Hills sucks! I would rather go to Waco but that is not possible unless it is one of the "Open" to the public weekends.

Hammer I got your voice mail but was unable to call you back. I won't know until late on saturday if we are going to super cross. I have to put the GG back together and finish up the F4I for Mel. If we do go riding on sunday it is going to be at a buddy of mines property so Mel can break in her motor. In other words it is flat with 0 trails.

You boys have fun.

FYI
I'm not sure if you fella's know this but Red River is thinking of becoming a membership type place like Gilmer. There has been alot of talk and e-mails sent to folks and Red River that I chat with on another forum.

It "Could" have some good benefits. They (Red River) were saying that they are wanting to improve the property by building showers and some decent rest rooms, etc. They are also trying to "Manage" the property better.

The down side could be the cost of the said membership.

I copied this from another forum. This guy sent them (Red River) and e-mail asking some questions. Here was their response.

Thank you for your comments & inquiries. We really do appreciate them. The idea about the pavilions are definitely something we will consider...an enclosed pavilion would definitely be nice in the winter when its colder but would probably not be used much at all in the summer since its so extremely hot...but maybe we could figure something out that's in between cause you definitely had a good point.

Actually probably one of the biggest if not the biggest reasons we would like to go to membership is to be able to provide better park amenities such as showers, etc. (This also includes just overall general better park up keep, trail grooming, etc.) However, in the process, we want to make sure that we keep things affordable for ALL those individuals that enjoy riding at our facility. We are definitely not wanting or even planning to exclude anyone. In fact, just the opposite, we would hope that membership would allow us to get to know our clientele better and be able to cater to their needs better. At this time, we are considering possibly offering different membership levels and thus different price levels that way someone that doesn't come that often is only having to pay for the amount of time he/she is actually able to come rather than a higher fee for someone who comes all the time. Again, at this time, we are only considering the membership idea, and have not ironed out any tentative membership fees, member benefits etc. While I still can't give you any prices yet, I will definitely assure you that it is going to be reasonable. We are wanting to cater to families, groups, riding clubs, and others, etc. and realize that our rates must be affordable and reasonable. We would also expect those that become members to help enforce the rules, take better care of the park by keeping it clean, etc. Thanks again for your comments and if you happen to think of anything else you would like to share, please feel free to email us.

Sincerely,
RRMT, Inc.

I'd lay odds that such a change would help them in lawsuits and/or insurance.

I was told the fear of lawsuits over a rider plainly doing something dumb was the reason owners closed down the place in Weatherford. But then, they were a membership joint too.

You know I am not overly worried about it becoming a membership place. Maybe then it will keep out some of the yahooooooo's!!!! No helmet riding numnuts!! It is still one of the best places to ride locally and I wouldn't mind if the money does go to the upkeep and cutting of new trails!
I am still waiting for Robby to show me this new wonder place down south somewhere but he is soooooo PW that he plays ring a ring a roses with his missus more! Man and I thought we were related!! Yeesh LOL

No broda it is called priorities! I have to make up time now so that when the enduros kick back into full swing she will be nice and not crabby.

I agree with the membership as long as they take care of the "Quad Billies" that ride around with no gear and they can spend our money to keep the trails properly groomed. JMO

Gonna buy each of you some collars to go with your leashes.:lol2:

Thanks for the Gilmer offer. Just a tad far to do for a one-day at $3/gallon. Prolly gonna go have a lookiesee at this biodiesel spot in FTW. Talking to a couple folks about putting us in a tank. At less than $2/gallon it dang sure makes sense...until bigoil gets involved and drives the price thru the roof at least. ;-)
