Some additional information quoted from TON:

Just a note to get you ready for the Outlaw race!

MSRA has laid out a course that should be totally different from the other Outlaw races!

It will have a lot of what I call technical sections. We ride in a couple of dry creek beds. Have some neat drop ins and climb outs. Most of it has not been ridden or hasn't been on in years. Some places to make you sweat and some stretches to let you air out! No double dip this year, we ride through it instead! Really tough climb out the easy/hard split if we can make it ridable! Pretty tough right now.

For the brave have a table top over a road, great photo oppurtunity!

Spectator freindly by camp, as always we use some of m/x, then the above mentioned table top over the road. (for the brave and great ones). Right after that is a pretty tricky drop in where the fans can watch you. Then we run a few minutes and bring you back by camp so your friends can see what postition you are in before you head off for the back.

We might add a mile but right now little over 8 miles in the 24 minute range.

Put us on the calendar, we want everyone to enjoy a tough h/s!
See ya in 3 weeks!

Happy trails!

New information, again quoted from TON:

Just wanted to add a little to Robs post about the course. We've added a couple more very sweet creek sections and the hard easy lines should make for some great racing! The layout should keep dust to a minimum, it flows very well, weve put in alternate lines in the technicle sections to help prevent bottlenecks, and the faster 1 hr guys should get three laps. We plan on taking spectators out to several sections hay ride style and I hear we're even having a band playing sat night! The club has put in many hours on this course and it should hold up very well. You dont want to miss this one it will be a blast!

Hmmm... I really want to get out there but will be on call that weekend. I wonder if I could leave and come back without having to pay twice? That way I could run home, crank out a job if I got one, and then run back out to the park.

If we showed up with ATV's would we be able to use them to get to different parts of the course? Or do you have to walk? If we bring Sarah, carrying her all that time or trying to use a stroller would be a pain. She can ride on the ATV (two seater) with me no problem if we are just puttering from A to B.

The best way to answer that is with a copy of the rules that govern vehicles used at the events:

STORM VEHICLE RULES
1. Any non competition vehicle will be used for point to point transportation purposes only. There will be no riding for any other purpose. Competition vehicles will be used for competition and point to point transportation also. Competition vehicles used for transportation will be subject to the same rules as non competition vehicles when not on the race track.

2. All non competition vehicle operators shall sign all releases at the gate and a “numbered sticker” will be issued for the vehicle. You must apply this sticker or you will not be allowed to operate your vehicle.

3. Non competition vehicle operators must stay in designated areas only and obey all signage. All vehicles operated within 100 feet of parking, camping or spectator areas shall be operated at a walking speed.

4. Vehicles operated without the sticker and/or proper forms will be asked to leave the premises.

5. All vehicle operators must wear protective gear at all times while operating vehicle. Protective gear is defined as DOT approved helmets with chin strap properly fastened, eye protection, long pants, shirts and high top footwear as a minimum.

6. No alcohol or drugs consumption is allowed before or during the operation of these vehicles.

7. Vehicle’s will be operated by a single individual only unless designated by the manufacturer as a two person vehicle.

8. Violators will be issued one warning for any infraction, this is not one warning for each event or operator, if your vehicle number is on the list as having been previously warned of any infraction upon the second infraction you will be escorted from the premises or your vehicle will be locked up. You will then have to contact the STORM BOG to find out when and if you will be allowed to attend any future events. Please help us to protect your rights to ride and enjoy the STORM racing series. Your cooperation is mandatory if we are to maintain this privilege for our members, guests and future.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation,

As long as you keep your wristband on, you'll only have to pay once for the entire weekend. Outlaw Trax is one of my favorite STORM tracks, so I'm really looking forward to this one!

Latest info I have is that "Narrow Minds" will be the band for your Saturday Night entertainment at the Outlaw Trax pavillion. I think they said it would be around 6:30. :drums: :jammin: :flip:
