Howdy,
:tab Well, I was hanging out with Beth Friday night watching a movie at home when, like the flip of a switch, my sinuses went haywire. By Saturday morning I was feeling kind of peculiar. We still went riding Saturday morning and got rained on a little. That could not have been good for me. Then, Sunday morning, the weather is perfect, I mean totally perfect! We had to go meet an accountant friend and waste most of the day trying to figure out our taxes :angryfir: I could just feel the day slipping away... By the time we got home late in the afternoon, the sinuses were kicking my butt. I figured I'd be better off not riding the bike and had to watch a beautiful evening fade away. So now I am sitting here feeling a little spaced out from sniffing so hard all weekend :brainsnap I just hope it is nice next weekend because we have a ride out into East Texas scheduled. Hopefully my head will feel a little more normal by then.
:tab To really rub in the fact that I wasn't going to get to ride, we ran into some other riding friends on our way home from doing taxes. They were out enjoying the incredible day. We had not seen them in nearly a year. It was nice to catch up with them again. Apparently one of them had a nasty encounter with a large pile of horse poop :puke: It was all over his boot and the side of his ST1100. Fortunately, he did not lose control of the bike.
:tab So now I'm sitting here watching the depressing coverage of the war in Iraq. Hope you got to do some riding this weekend.
