...when Pier Francesco Chili is #2 in the points standings. :-D

And Chris Walker on the Foggy Petronas got 3rd in the first race and 4th overall. A **** of a lot better than all the engine fires and DNFs last year.

Racing season is upon us...... BRING IT ON

Howdy,

:tab Scratch and I watched those races Sunday evening. I was surprised that they were actually exciting to watch!? I mean I feel bad that Laconi crashed out and then had problems in the second race. But at least is was not a Duc factory runaway like so many of last year's races. If Haga San can keep it moving like he did this weekend, it should be a fun season indeed!!

Adios,

Hmmmm,

Technically it's not a spoiler, as nowhere is it mentioned who actually won either of the races  That used to be the rule somewhere...

Although it's a nice addition. Daytona next week...hope the wifey doesn't want me to do anything!

:tab No biggie ;-) As far as I am concerned, if someone is going to make any comments about a race that has just taken place, it is a spoiler. Something like, "it was a great race, you gotta see it!" is obviously not. But anything that hints at what may have happened in the race... I don't wanna know hehe.

:tab Acutally, I would expect everything in this forum to be a spoiler, even if it is not labeled as such.

:tab Any news of whether Maladin is still planning on sitting out this Daytona? After some of the first tire tests went so bad, he had said he would not compete.

He's since renigged on that...guess he didn't want to start at that big a points disadvantage!

Think you could dig around on Cyclenews or AMAsoup and find the exact quote, but his "strike" didn't last long.

Personally, I'm voting for EBoz this weekend! Next choice would be Miguel! I want all these "old" guys to keep winning...

Gotta go work,

Daryl

Hehe... I know how you feel. I guess seeing the "old" guys win makes us feel not quite so old ourselves :-P Besides, the old guys usually have a lot less attitude than the younger guys. Big brother Gobert may be a great rider, but I don't much care for the cocky attitude, Hacking is not much better. Guys like the Boz Bro's, Yates, Duhamel, etc,... seem to be genuinely nice guys that don't talk smack. Of course, it could all be an act

Adios,
