Selling my 1973 Honda cb750 four. The "original" sport bike. 736cc inline 4 cyclinder. Cafe -rat style. Kickstart only. Clubman bars. Starter is there, not wired. 3/4 of the way to a full cafe bike. Just add the bumpstop seat & your there. Title in hand, & in my name. Just passed inspection today. 5/16/12 box of spare parts included.

The calls are from Washington State, Arizona, Washington DC and Oregon.

My phone is on the no call list but I'm getting these calls. I answered two of them and there is no one on the line.

My son says it is a computer calling random numbers looking for valid phone numbers. If you answer, your number goes into a database of valid numbers so that it can be sold to solicitors. I don't know if this is true but I don't know what is going on.

AT&T says I can block these calls but I must pay 5.00 per month to do this. I don't like that.

Anyone have an idea of what is going on and how to stop this without paying someone.

Part of which is to brief the squadron on motorcycle safety, seeing as it is the month of motorcycle safety.

However, speaking from experience, the minute I say the dreaded words, "Hi, I'm Lt. Butterbar, and I'm going to brief you on motorcycle safety." I'm going to loose everyone. Heck, I wouldn't pay attention, and I love bikes.

If you had the (somewhat) attentive ear of a bunch of non-riders, what would you say? I'd like to address in a non-victim, non-accusatory manner, pointing out the what goes on in the mind of a rider.

What would you bring up?

--Harder to see
--You notice the real idiots, never give pause about the "normal" ones (aka, people who piss you off stick in your mind)
--Tendency to "look past" a bike
--Driving isn't just point A to point B, it is a skill that requires attention, regardless of what is distracting.

The venting seems to work well and two things I really like are the built in sun visor (actually covers my eyes unlike the last helmet I bought) and the main visor can be locked open slightly like my old Shoei.
