This might show my age a little, but I'm sitting here having a glass of wine having a good time trying to remember all the bikes.

I am sure a have left out a few.

I think my favs are the 2 stroke Yamaha's and the 2 valve Ducks.

First two were dirt bikes me and my brothers had, the old GS was given to us, and we sorta got it running, and rode it in the woods and the back roads. The CX started out my street legal motorcycle riding career about a year ago, drove it for a summer before i had enough saved up for the bandito. Bought the bandit and have been dumping money in it ever since i bought it (in modifications, not repairs, dont want to give the wrong impression), gets better everytime :mrgreen:

Don't remember all the ones I got that didn't run, for parts or something. Some of those were RD350s. I used to collect RD junk like I do XR100 junk now. :lol: In rough order of ownership:

1967 Honda S-90 bought brand new for $319 TTL.
1968 Honda CL-175 insurance deal for totaling S-90 into 64 Mustang.
1969 Honda CB-350 $695 + TTL.
1970 125cc Penton about $700 brand new.
1983 Honda XL-185.
2004 Kawasaki Ninja 250 (big tech change from 1969 Honda)

I remember a lot of those when I had my scooter in the mid-60s, also the regular Honda 50 (not the Cub). Sure would like to see a S-90 again to verify my memory of it...

I sorta liked the S65, too. I was a hunter, though, when I was a kid and my little CT90 was a two wheeled jeep. I even built a gun rack for the forks in shop class. Couldn't bring the gun to school to fit it, but didn't need to. It was a different time, pre-columbine. I would throw my decoy bag on the rack, shotgun on the gun rack I built, dressed in camo at 4am, riding through Freeport to my hunting spot. I'd get smiles and waves from the cops working the night shift, no doubt wishing they were going hunting, too. I'm sure now days, I'd be thrown face down and cuffed.

Three questions, or two and one comment:

1) Was it a VT500 or a FT500 Ascot?

2) What was it you didn't like about the GSX1100G? Have trouble with the bike? Just wondering. I have no experience with that model. Don't get into it too far. I mean, I could write three pages on that *** XS650 I had. :lol:

3) I believe the first year for the SV650 was 1999.
