1-2-3 Farm To Market Roads in Sequential Order Game!

... I was missing the adapter that goes on the back of the bulb--it was in the trash can in my garage with the bad bulb. ...

I've only actually replaced one headlight bulb (and it wasn't even my vehicle!) but a couple of times I've fitted bad parts back onto a vehicle, and when asked by buddues why, I say that I'm not entirely sure what comes with the new parts, so better to have it with me and chuck it in a dumpster than not have it.

Only applies when I'm doing parking lot repairs, which I haven't had to do all that recently. (Knock on wood)

I'm not in love with my 2064 pic. We can use it for now, I guess, if nobody else has it, but I'll be reshooting it later.

I didn't make it very far today. During the pre-ride inspection, I noticed one of the low beams was out. I thought I had a spare so I took the bulb out and threw it in the trash. I searched all over and couldn't find my spare and since it was not yet 7 am there was no place to buy one before leaving. I decided to take off and buy one at the first open auto parts store I came across. I got all the way to Fredericksburg before I came across one. I had a heck of a time getting the new bulb in and hooked up and that's when I realized I was missing the adapter that goes on the back of the bulb--it was in the trash can in my garage with the bad bulb. I didn't want to risk riding back home tonight with only one working headlight so I came back home and spent five minutes putting the new bulb in. I'll try it again tomorrow.

Don't feel bad I did that on a road trip. Except my adapter went in the dumpster at Wal-Mart.:doh: I fought with the light for about an hour :wary: and gave up  for the night. Finished the ride the next day. Tried working on the light again and that is when my light came. :doh:Two weeks later I had hi-beams again.

You win!

I cannot find 2157 either on a map or on the ground. I rode FM 700 from one end to the other and back and there is no sign for FM 2157. Same for south US 87, no FM 2157 intersects it that I can tell.

 Dennis for your efforts down south in the Panhandle, but hey you are the go to guy... I looked up 2157 on MS trips and it showed it was in Stephenville, but it was also listed as TX Hwy 205.

2072, 2073 and 2074 are all close together near Vernon, the pictures of 2073 and 2074 were taken in 2010 and 2072 was taken in 2011. You can see the effect the drought had on the landscape.

I'll make the new list tonight. Moving fast now!
