Purpose of the Learning and Doing subforum

This is the place to ask those general questions about photography, for the beginner and the expert. It is also the place to ask those "how do I do this" kinds of questions. The idea is to help people get a better understanding of the principles of photography so they can understand what is happening when they are taking pictures. It is also so that they can then get pointers on how to apply that knowledge to get the results they want.
