Dairyland. How many can say the same? Had 2 claims
with them, both my fault. First in '98 they totaled
my k100rs, then let me keep it and sent a check for $2500
which was enough to rebuild it. Had the check in hand 2 days after
the estimate.

Last year on the GS had a little incident that removed the
bags and scratched the heads, about $7500 between it and the cage.
Same story, check in hand 2 days after estimate.

Dreading renewal time, I got my notice yesterday and my insurance
premiums WENT DOWN!:rider: :rider: :rider: :rider: :rider:

FYI, $1100\year for full coverage ($250 deductible) on both 05 k1200s and
r1200gs. I'm 47 and no saint

And NO, I'm not going to try to lower my rates by crashing again! :zen:

Best,

Eric

A lot of the time an insurance company may not link the claims to you right away and charge you for them. Maybe they did charge you but they also had a big rate decrease in your area? I wouldn't know with out seeing your policy. I have had clients with wrecks and tickets that the insurance company never charged them for since the claims dept. and underwriting dept didn't communicate back and forth at all.

Either way, good for you.

Glad to hear their claims reputation. I've not heard of anyone else with experience. We are very happy with them but always wondered what would change were a claim ever made.

I am with USAA for my truck and wifes mini-van. Got a ticket for speeding in 2001 and my rates did not change for almost 2 years, then they went up. I called to see what happened, and they said that the ticket had just hit my record with them.

I may take some time, but it could still affect your rates. If it doesn't, you are one lucky ***! :trust:

No claims so far with either of my bikes. Use GEICO for them, and only pay about 300 a year for full coverage on both.

Glad to hear they pay claims cause I switched to DL last year but I'm paying only $375/yr for full coverage on two bikes (2000 1200 bandit and 2000 650 SV) and I'm 46!! I guess they might be sticking it to you on your premium instead? You do have more expensive machines than I do, so maybe thats the difference.

my bikes an older, small slug, and I pay $165 for full coverage through Progressive.
