We went to donate to the Casinos. We heard the riverboats were running low on money so we did or part to help out. We also had a great ride over and back considering the temps and Humidity. No wrecks or other bad stuff to report just lots of fun and food. We went East through some of the standard east texas routes and added a few new ones for good measure. Debbie was kind enough to lead through 777 and we caught up with her some time afterward. Becca was cruzing pretty strong on the way back and wanted me to pass on to scott she is ready for the fast group?????? That is if you let her get her gear on before you. She is very detail oriented and perfection takes time. Right Becca??? All kidding aside on the trip back she was fast and smooth. I had serious GPS problems and missed a couple of turns I think for sure a new 276C is in short order. I know some of the others took pix as well and I hope they will add them in. By the way as you can see you never know what will be riding around in trucks!!! Jan also saw a naked man on a lawn tractor???? I think it was wishful thinking or and exotic dream as she slept on the back of the RT ( she did say she doesn't sleep on the back).

That's not quite how I'd say it to Scott, but all kidding aside I had a smooth, confident ride on the way back. It helped that I stayed hydrated more than I had the previous day riding out there, and I was loose and relaxed without having to think about it. Good tunes helped - thanks for all the new music Steve! ;-) I think Wilbur and I are finally starting to 'click'. Geez, it only took six months and 12k miles...

I'd gladly run this route and trip again - but would prefer to wait for a little cooling off in weather first. I didn't give ANY of my money to the casinos! Well, unless you count the overpriced buffet.

Y'all let me know when you are going to be back up this way. I am not much of a gambler but never pass up the opportunity to eat at Brices Landing.

Thanks to Steve for leading a great ride. I really enjoyed hanging out with everyone & doing something different for a change.

We found Will & Lauren on the way

Steve & Will did some smart maneuvering of the bikes to get them parked at the hotel. I didn’t know my bike could jump a curve like that.

Becca “Squeaky” on Wilbur

Howard “Mapmaker” & Jan

Steve “Cruzintexas” & Rita

This was a “Sanity” Break as Steve put it :pound:

Heading down the road coming home. I need to work on my camera skills.

The group stopped at the Bryce Landing in Milam. Very tasty shrimp & catfish. Nice place but beware of the gravel parking lot. Thanks Will for turning around my bike for me. :-)

Hopefully there will be other pics posted from the group.
