Interesting.. I would like to see some more detail on the engine. It looks like an inline four thats mounted with the cylinders running front to back. Interested in seeing more about this bike... anyone have more info?

Evidently it has 2 crankshafts that counter rotate as well if I'm reading it right.

There is a huge write up about it in this months Cycle World. It is a V4, but the vees are inline with each other. The front two cylinders lean left and the back two lean right, sort of like two parallel twins end to end but facing different directions. It makes for an exceptionally narrow front profile and eliminates torque reactions on the chasis. The front fork and suspension is very cool! This guy plans to run at the Laguna GP race in 2005 if all goes as planned. Then they would like to do a short production run so they can get into AMA. I'd love to see them go into full production and compete with the Buells head to head to perhaps jumpstart an American sportbike market.

Adios,

It definitely doesn't sound like your typical I-4. The CW article describes the motor as being more like 2 parallel twins mated together with contra-rotating cranks, and the illustration across the top of pages 42 & 43 indicates that the two sets of pistons rise and fall together in a manner similar to the old Triumph and Norton vertical twins. The exhaust note seems to confirm that. Very cool!

But if you can't pronounce it, is it still a motorcycle?
