Yup, I'm watching this one closely. I fear it it will be priced outside my budget though. Oh well, K-Bikes are generally much more reasonably priced on the used market.

Re: New Meat for Us BMW Boys!

Dang Jay is getting heavy into the motorcycle scene. Anyone see the article recently about him hosting a Team Yamaha party before the Laguna Grand Prix?

Nice bike. Interesting about the headlight, I was just yesterday morning on my way to work thinking how something like that would be nice.

Now then...the Goldwing is getting long in the tooth. Let's see how they retaliate against this. I love competition.

That's a much better perspective. The shot with Jay has a minivanesque look.

I like. A monster of a bike. Sure the weight falls right off once underway... As is said of every heavy bike.

The pic in Leno's garage has it as ugly as a Victory motorcycle. Too much of everything for my taste.

Re: New Meat for Us BMW Boys!

I'll bet as touring bikes go, it won't be that heavy. The RT comes in at 570lbs. wet and the K1300GT is only 625. Compared to the Goldwing or Ultra, at close to 1000lbs, it won't be bad at all.

29" seat height. Even the vertically challenged could throw a leg over that thing.

Me like Even the wife said "I'd ride on the back of that" so that's a huge .

I was in my local dealer yesterday, drooling over some other bikes, and the salesman said they had been told March/April with a price in the mid 20's.
