I know you most likely would have listed it if the bike had it... but does it have ABS? Thanks!

Thanks for asking. It is non-ABS.

Thanks for asking– grips are the standard, non-heated type.

On the other hand, the decreased weight and electrical load maximizes rear wheel torque and top speed

Can you tell any difference from the old to the new?

I still haven't gotten around to adjusting the suspension on the Sertão, and as a result, the seat height is noticeably higher and the ride more firm than the Dakar. Some of that is just the 11 year difference in age, for sure, as things just naturally seem to sag as they grow older.

On the other hand, both of them require the same amount of effort to lift off the ground. All in all, I'm very pleased with the Sertão, and can't wait for the next weekend day trip, when I can find the time.

Will any of the Dakar bling fit on the Sertao?

Lots. Seats and many OEM & aftermarket accessories fit, particularly the dual spark F650 GS singles 2005 or newer.

Sorry, was thinking I might enjoy the extra space in the garage– for a while, at least
Perhaps the SV's next owner will have even more room than I do (and the time to ride it too)
