In 1964 when I was in the 6th grade I lived in California and we went to Lions Dragstrip quite often. One Saturday night the big news was that the EJ Potter "The Michigan Madman" was there with his Chevy V8 powered motorcycle. He made three runs that night. It was something I'll never forget.
