Fresh cut grass or mowed hay; baking bread; a light rain shower. These are some of the reasons I enjoy my motorcycle more than the car! Heck, I don't even get too upset at the occasional skunk! The freedom of being "uncaged" is neat!

Re: The Smell of Hay
Today I rode through what I think is the City of Austins Dillo Dirt manufacturing process. This smell permeates the entire Colorado River basin within in 5 miles of the river. It spreads like a fog across the landscape poisoning all it touches. It is particularly bad during hot morning with the dew still in the air.
Dillo Dirt is all the solid effluent is spread to dry out and "mature?" It is like riding through the feed lots west of El Paso. You just can't get through there fast enough and it seems to stick to you if there is any humidity.
