Re: Crazy Bob’s Toasty Camp out (July 27 & 28)

It's going to be so hot, so muggy, sitting there with a bunch on tree hangers talking about the same old stuff.................................

Put me down as a maybe. I need an excuse to get out. I have not been riding much.

I have really enjoyed the BS sessions associated with Bob's camp outs. Hope I can make it up for this one. I need some R&R.

I'll know for sure as the camp out nears.

Any pictures taken are confiscated and burned along with any damaged camping equipment, which includes but not limited to: chairs, trash hooks, tents, hammocks, and personal pride

Well this is so long as we can get a fire going....

I have to chime in here. I've not had time to participate in this thread because I've been busy tearing thru the mountain twisties in Colorado. It's a tough job, but somebody needs to do it.

Anyway, you guys got it all wrong. If you tell a true story, you are banned from the group. Truth is boring, so come up with some good campfire lies. (if we can get the fire started)

I've learned a trick with this, however it requires a BMW motorcycle.
1) set the motorcycle over the fire pit
2) let its gas tank leak (your and now daveed's are perfect for this, as this is natural)
3) light the fire
4) buy a v strom to replace the BMW!

Brush up?

I heard you were the author and originator.
And a fine job you do too. Keep up the good work.

After sleeping on a rock at Fairfield state park I had to make a change. Luckily the exped will work well with the side zip model.

No, then it is just bladder wine and bladders are good.

Next step. Use the bladder to replace a camelback bladder resulting in camel wine. It has amazing properties like hiding from park rangers and getting you drunker than a skunk.

Re: Crazy Bob’s Toasty Camp out (July 27 & 28)

Kidding aside, those wine bladders filled with water came in real handy in the desert in NM last CDR trip. Still have on sitting in the garage, I guess I should move it to make room for....

Oh yeah the new rig is getting delivered shortly!

Btw I am backing down to a maybe/caging this. I have a back appt finally on Monday, and worse case may restrict me from having two wheeled fun. On the plus side, if I cage it, I can bring a big pot and we can do cowboy chili

No restrooms or showers and you want Chili!!!!!!!!! I am going to try and make this one. Friday night for sure. My parents live just off of HWY 198 and FM 47 so if too hot I may go there and enjoy some cold air.
