![]() I AIN'T missing out on the fatties! I've made them myself and want to taste them made by someone who knows what they are doing. I'm not sure if I'm more excited about the BBQ or the fatties at this point. Sent again. Looking at my sent items I may have neglected to hit the send button the first go round.

Re: Pre Ride to Tricepilot's BBQ4U - JULY 13th, 2012
Having to drive down 281 to Blanco then 32/12 to Hays county courthouse for a little work. Then I'll be checking out some roads west of 281 on my way back so look out for the guy in a glass van running gravel roads.
![]() The bike will not be with me as I'll be picking it back up from Monkey Wrench Cycles on Saturday. |

Re: Pre Ride to Tricepilot's BBQ4U - JULY 13th, 2012
This is my final posting before we blast. Youzguyz and I are going to do an intense recon of the critial parts of the route as a jesture to our out of town guest. We will route around the slick water crossings and decide on a good route for everyone. Personally im riding my cruiser anyway and I dont dig visions of doing any Roadstar snorkeling tomorrow...I will save that experience for a future date....
IN any case ANY of you Ryyyders local or coming in from parts unknown are welcome to join us at any time on part of this preRide to Tricepilots BBQ 4U. The early phase begins at 7:30am at the Wendys at Hwy281 and 46 where Yousguyz and Infidel will begin a reverse route around Rebecca creek rd. Get up early, call in sick, postpone that surgery, its time to party SA style....We WILL BE making a run down river rd in New Braunfels AND a stop in Gruene so there should be a good display of bikinis along that route....and lots of Hill Country nature, Texas History and some exquisite examples of road construction technologies....along with radical elevation changes....and a few off camber fade away sweeps for you sportbikers.... Any last minute Riders can just meet us in the morning or call me tonight at 210-392-7980 for any additional info... My only regret is I cant ride all my bikes on this ride....gotta choose one...and im going with the Roadstar1600CC Silverado....one cost effective but stylish machine...chicks dig it....

Re: Pre Ride to Tricepilot's BBQ4U - JULY 13th, 2012
For you riders that cant make it until Saturday im committed to riding all weekend and will gladly host and guide a ride just about anywhere you guys wanna ridxe around the hill country including the 3 Twisted sisters out west.
After the BBQ on Saturday im ready to do some intense riding and it dosent have to be very far....BUt if youve never ridden the 3 twisted sisters and would like to do that ride then lets form a group that wants to do that route leaving at noon. Otherwise there are alot of great hill country rides close to Tricepilots BBQ. A 3 twisted sisters ride from the BBQ is going to be a 6-to 8 hour ride but its very biker friendly with lots of stops and one can make a partial tour of the sisters if need be... Call me at 210-392-7980 for more info...

OK - I am ready.
Planning to leave Katy @ 7:30 and arriving J. City at 11:00 am. Be careful tomorrow particularly if it rains.

Normally I use a maple chub with smoked gouda cheese. This round I'm trying two different ones, a maple chub with goat cheese (sort of a very mild white) with the fixings, and a regular sausage chub with blue cheese. Both will have the philly cream cheese layer, garlic, roasted red pepper spread. Thoughts? .

The main reason I am arriving tomorrow is to try the fatties...
I have no idea what they are... ![]() Quote:

Re: Pre Ride to Tricepilot's BBQ4U - JULY 13th, 2012
.....& then there was THE PLAN
Ghostrider & myself are going to ride down Friday ..leavin Waco around 10AM & stopping by Green's in Zabzickville for some goodies...& in Lockart for a client visit for Ghost. Whiskey Smith has offered up a place for us to stay Friday night so we'll be at the Fish Fry Friday nite then be back on Sat for some Fatties & Q. Hoping the weather will cooperate with us & not give too much of a soaking if we run into any showers. I've got the tire on the rim & will get it back on the bike in the morn....THEN we can leave....after I put in fresh oil & filter.......& go to the bank......

Pound it flat into a 10" diameter circle Squeeze 1/2 block Philly Cream Cheese down the center Layer on some sundried tomato pesto or roasted red peppers in olive oil Pile on a bit of minced garlic Add some cheese (smoked gouda, blue or goat) Carefully roll it back up with all that goodness inside Toss it on the pit for 90 minutes While that's cooking, cook up the FROZEN PUCKS Grands Buttermilk biscuits Slice a hot buttermilk biscuit in half Squirt it with some butter Take a diagonal slice of the fatty and place it on half the biscuit Put a blob of pineapple habenero jelly on top Put the other half of biscuit on EAT And if words don't do it justice, here's one of my creations: ![]() .

Re: Pre Ride to Tricepilot's BBQ4U - JULY 13th, 2012
Good times yesterday. Thanks to yousguys and Infidel for leading a great sightseeing ride around the Hill Country area. Nobody rode into the river from looking at the distractions so all was good. Dang did the pool feel good when we got back though.
and now, speaking of fatties...it's almost 8am!
