Sold - Brand new aluminum pannier boxes for sale- Make youself an ADV hero !
Brand new, never had any mount holes drilled in them.
     Want to sell for 300 (firm) cash. Please, please, please understand, I won't ship them. Locally only in DFW area. Possible delivery to Austin area in a couple of weeks. I did a set a few weeks ago. Black outside, white inside for visibility and yellow lids.

Springtown is good or maybe at my fire station in Hurst if we could nail down a meeting time.
I'd need till about mid week to get them coated up in the black and white scheme. |

So, is this a re-occurring sale? As in do you make these in your shop, or is this the only pair for sale...
A friend of mine is looking for cases for his KTM990... how can we get it worked out so they would mount to his side racks?

No, this is just a set of boxes I've been saving but decided I won't ever use them. I need to buy a few little things to finish my Yamaha so figured to sell them to raise some quick cash.

That's a darn good price for AL boxes. I wouldn't sell them for that price if I built them. AL is expensive these days.

Eric,
Is your buddy flush enough to float the cash in person or do you need to do paypal ? I just avoid paypal because they'll whack me about 30 plus dollars in fees. Anyway, I'll get right on coating them Monday morning and have them ready to meet your buddy Thursday. Full gloss black outside and white inside right ? No worries about drilling the holes. Put some masking tape down to put your marks on and drill right through it. Then peel off masking tape and shouldn't be any issues at all. |

Valker, I'm about to rivet the tie downs back onto the lids. There is a small dent in the bottom of one of the boxes that I found while working on them. I don't know of it was there originally or if it got there while in storage. Not a big dent but I understand I'd you'd like to reconsider.

Those are beautiful. The dent is a non issue with me. That saves me from thinking "crap, I just put the first dent in my new _____. "

Good to hear. The powdercoat job is perfect for an owner like that. I am not super proud of the finished product. I shot it multiple times but couldn't get it glass smooth and perfectly free of little specs and such. By the way, what is your friend's name ? I got an email this morning from someone asking about where my shop is, and I have no idea who it is. |
