Any Sport bikes in ET?

Hey guys and girls,
Mt names Tyler O'Quinn. Riding a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja Ex500r, all stock. I joined here to find riders near Tyler since I'm tired of riding EVERYWHERE by myself... Gets boring sometimes.
Shoot me a PM if you wanna ride one weekend

Re: Any Sport bikes in ET?

I'm in the San Antonio area, but if you're ever passing through, or just near, I'll be happy to spend time on the road with you. Just let me know.

And....

Re: Any Sport bikes in ET?

Welcome to the site... Keep an eye out for our monthly Meet & Greet on the second Thursday of every month. Details get posted in the Upcoming Rides section a few days in advance - different eatery each time and there's usual some local group heading that way.

Itchy is pulling on your leg

Ben is off racing MotoGP at the moment, might be back in the states for the Laguna Seca races coming up next weekend I think. He's a former AMA Superbike and World Superbike champ. Hometown is Longview I think.

Definitely check the Upcoming Rides/Trips/Events forum as the ET folks tend to have a lot of meet/greets and rides.

It is no crime to be ignorant of economics, which is, after all, a specialized discipline and one that most people consider to be a ‘dismal science.' But the myth of the rule of law does more than render the people submissive to state authority; it also turns them into the state's accomplices in the exercise of its power. For people who would ordinarily consider it a great evil to deprive individuals of their rights or oppress politically powerless minority groups will respond with patriotic fervor when these same actions are described as upholding the rule of law. - John Hasnas

Well, you missed a few bikes (75+ but all kinds) in Edom yesterday for the monthly Pie Run.

There were about a dozen East Texas riders on various bikes - Concours, Can-Am Spider, FJR, Beemers...

The group I was in picked up a nice quiet Hayabusa in Ennis.

If you come to a TWT event, you will see all kinds of bikes. Our leader yesterday (Leon, The Pie Man) was on his ZREX muscle bike. He also has a SV1000. On the way home, a Honda Shadow with a problem rear tire was escorted by a V-Strom and 2 Wee-Stroms.

Re: Any Sport bikes in ET?

Good looking 5hundy you go there. When it cools off a bit, I try to do a ride on Saturdays with a couple of buddies. Our routes range from 100-300 miles depending on the weather.

Shooting you a pm with relevant contact info, etc.

Re: Any Sport bikes in ET?

Ex500r you say?

I've got one of those, 2006 model (not that it matters, I don't think they changed at all between 94-2009). Picture taken at Love's Lookout just north of Jacksonville on Hwy 69.

As the crow flys, I probably live about 3-5 miles from you. I do have 3 small kids though, so my riding time isn't that great, but I'll ride with you when I can get away. Along with the 2nd Thursday meet and eat, we also meet the first Saturday of the month at 8 AM at a restaurant at Pounds Field (Tyler's airport). This time of year, that is a nice ride. This month's Thursday ride should be this week, I am going to try and go. Normally we do not eat until about 6:30, I don't know when you get off work, but if you can make it I'll ride with you.

TunaGod, wanna share the love?
