I had a bug hit my camera one afternoon , right in the lens while taking a picture and never notice till that night when looking at down loaded pics on laptop and saw all the blur. . When I turn the camera off , the lens cover hides the lens. ( Canon G-12 ) Sure mess up some shots. Bit I checked the lens several times a day after that.

Just ordered all the wheel bearings and seals and neck bearings for Bandit. With a corrected 66,000 miles on them (62,000 * an average of +.07 for the speedo healer which for this trip I had to set at -.08 to get withing .5 mph of my GPS at 70 mph) , may as well change them. Think I read where it's recommended to change out wheel bearings at 40,000. Also, FINALLY order new foot peg rubbers as I had to buy some tape to hold together the left one on this trip. Just zip ties would not work any more.

I need to buy a taller windscreen just to try to keep some of the bugs off of my face shield. Looked like a high school biology project on my helmet.

Bad news...Good news....

Bad news is my license plate and bracket were no longer on the bike when I arrived at work yesterday And it is gonna take a week for the stealership to get one in.

Good news is that it gives me time to install my PAIR blockoff kit, to get rid of that annoying decel popping.

Plastic screws holding it on!? I had my plate hanging by just one once when I got to work ironically my sh*t for brains boss noticed it when he was checking out my bike but then again why would I be looking at its rear end while riding, etc! Either way I have metal screws on there now!

Oh I have been using it. Searched power commander, dyno tuning, and a couple other ones but I swear everything I search this is the first thread that pops up.

Re: The 2007 Suzuki Bandit 1250S -The Mega Thread

Hey everyone, I have a question. I posted this in another section but this seems to be a much better section to post in. Anywhoo I am looking at a 2007 suzuki bandit 1250s Street Fighter. The bike has 6K on it and he is asking $5500 because the Street Fighter conversion kit was the legit expensive one ordered from the UK. Can anyone let me know if you think this is a decent deal? I like the bike a lot.

Assuming the custom work looks legit, that's a whole lot of bike for the money. 6k miles isn't even really broken in yet. If anything I'd be worried about things sitting too long with that low mileage, ~1k/yr...

Never seen a "fighter" with a stock can. But that is easily remedied.

Think I resolved my hesitation/stalling issue after sitting in the hot TX sun for several hours with a full tank.

More to follow.
