The rooms are 50 a night for a room with two beds I think. At least thats what the guy told me on the phone when I called a couple weeks back. Split that with another person and you're looking at 3 nights at 25$ a pop.. only 75$... not too bad.

If you plan to camp, I will be camping at Spadra Park Campground or the overflow spots at the marina. =[BAD]=TEX, Said he was not happy because Trains traffic.
After few cold ones, Texas tea, I don't think I will have problem, at end of the day riding.
I will leave early Friday 5:am

Re: Beyond Epic 5 - Ozark Rally, Aug 31 - Sep 3, 2012

Im hopeing to meet up with a bunch of dirt enthusiast on Saturday for some class 3 road and trail riding all day long as I will be bringing the DR650, but on Sunday im down for the twisty, turny backroads on the Roadstar Silverado.

I will be trailering from San Antonio on Thursday so I will be in town a bit early to scout out some stuff...

I like this combination of street and dirt riding...sounds like a blast...

Hmm, I haven't been on the board much lately, busy summer and all. Looks like it's shaping up to be a low turnout this year Rich, what's up with that? Is there a body count? Where are all the regulars, busy like me?

Primo,

Yes, so far the head count is down quite a bit this year. I'm not sure why.

Doesn't matter. More room on the roads from me.

Oh wait, that means fewer people to help me pick up my bike. Not good.

You have two more riders in, both on 990s. Richard, I'll send the registration in tomorrow.

First trip up here on the big bike, looking forward to it.

Routes? I still haven't chosen a bike for sure yet...or made hotel reservations. I'm way behind.

Re: Beyond Epic 5 - Ozark Rally, Aug 31 - Sep 3, 2012

I spoke with them last night and they only have 1 king bed room left... I'm not sure what the rate for a single bed room is though.. I'd book soon though if you're looking to stay at the Day's Inn!

I booked last night and the only room they had left with 2 beds was a smoking room. Yuck!

Oh well... Planning to spend most of my time out and about and not in the hotel room lol...

If anyone needs a reservation, call the hotel now, 479-754-8555. I just canceled a reservation for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I will not be able to make the ride this year.

Ah ha. That explains why they had both a single queen room and a single king room when I just called.

I got the queen.
