Shane Watts Roosting the Skinny Ridge Trail

G'day Everyone,

Here's a fun, short helmet cam video from the sketchy Skinny Ridge trail in Colorado while we were filming for our new DirtWise Instructional DVDs. As usual the camera doesn't do justice to the severity, but if you think it's a worthy view please forward it on to your riding mates for them to see. Volume 3 (How to master Wheelies, Logs, Rocks, and River crossings) and Volume 4 (How to master Hills, Gullies, Ravines, and Offcamber trails) of our DirtWise Advanced Instructional DVD series will go on sale at www.shanewatts.com on October 20, 2012. Keep on roosting!

Cheers,

Shane Watts

Wow, I am not usually scared of heights but, I would not do that even on the 200. And people call me crazy for flying thru the trees. I wish I had not missed Shane's last Texas date, just not at the right time. That was a 10 scored on that video, Shane.

Wonder why they call it "Skinny Ridge" . . .

The wide angle lens on the camera makes it look down-right evil.

Nice! Reminds me of a MTB trail like that in Fuita that I once rode.

Right before he yells at the rider trailside, I was thinking....I hope there are one-way trail signs somewhere....'cause what would you do if you met someone??? Cool place.

Re: Shane Watts Roosting the Skinny Ridge Trail

I've done that before several times. Once though, when I woke up, I realized I'd fallen out of bed after I hit a hilltop wrong.

Amazing stuff though. That boy sure can ride.

That looks like fun, would defiantly teach you focus. Bet it takes some getting used to riding on something that narrow

Re: Shane Watts Roosting the Skinny Ridge Trail

Have completed watching volumes 3 and 4 and they are excellent.Shane must have been pretty bruised up after filming-there are quite a few tumbles. Vol 4 covers climbing an descending rocky hills. Probably should have taken the DVD to Big Bend Ranch SP with me the other week...
