I'm imagining the highlight reels and the 'agony of defeat' video...

I must not have had my morning cup of joe. Nope I haven't. I read highlight reels as high heels. Completely changed the image of this triathlon. Lol

Come join us. We have done a good jog and converting the group to hammocks now can work on converting everyone to Urals. We plan on playing off-pavement at the adventure park. You willing to try that with your Tourist?
I would be willing as it has knobbies on the back but obviously it is a onewheel drive unlike yalls....so unless were in super rutted or nasty mud i would be game...just got to decide if i can make it up there from boerne without gettin my *** run over!!
where do you have yours worked on?
cheers

Comments on traveling long distance with Ural. While your first inclination my be to avoid the major road, I find it is actually safer to ride the interstates because there is room for folks to pass you or if need, for you to move to the shoulder. On back roads, if they cant pass you they want to run over you. Who needs to go faster than 60 anyway?

The thing about Ural is you can be going 30mph but feels like 60! It's perfect bike to go slow smell the roses and get dirty (in more ways than one!)

Just be careful, the guys staring at your Ural are target fixated and may just run you over

jeepinbanditrider and I are looking at rentals when we hit the adv park. I am seeing what all they have (hoping for a wr250r, for research of course). If anyone else is interested in renting more dirt friendly machines, let me know and I will see of we can work a group discount. 150/4hrs includes fuel, excludes park fees is the standard rate.

If you ride that out at hidden falls we will have to have a cook out in your honor or something.

Funny, I though all branches of the military used acronyms and abbreviations for everything.
