Saw this post a little to late guys. Been kinda busy lately. I got to meet infidel a couple of weeks ago when we did the Spechts run. We gotta get together again soon! TWTourist, it's been too long buddy!

I know its a late reminder but tonight is bike night at Texas Pride BBQ...one awesome joint...live classic rock, great food, drinks, pretty girls and of course lots of bikes to check out...I love the "ride in" feature of this place...

We are gonna do a mini ride out there starting at 5pm from the walmart parking lot on 1604 and 281...that should put us out there around 6:30 to 7pm...make it if you can otherwise we will see you out there.

Hey guys, been a while. Real life intervenes such as AC failure and a $5000 bill to replace the old ***. House was 95F downstairs and 105+ upstairs. Had to hole up in the guest bedroom with a window unit jerry-rigged with garbage bags to vent the exhaust since I didn't want to fully install it. After three days of that the new unit was up and running and the house was cool again. August in south texas is NOT a good time to have your AC die in a 2-story house without good air flow, needless to say!

Anyway, looking to try to scrounge together a bike night in September. I was thinking of doing something a little different and trying to get the SA and Austin crews together. We could either meet someplace in the middle (think San Marcos area) or at a little place called Foreign and Domestic up in Austin. It's a mom and pop joint that has these awesome gruyere (sp?) cheese popovers and hellacious fried chicken. Saw it on food network, tried it, and loved it. This would of course mean an hour ride for the SA folks and a convenient location for the Austin folks, but it's an awesome place.

Reply what days and which location would be best for you and we can see if this is a go or no-go.

Can only speak for myself, but weekends are great for this type of thing. Getting out during the week has its complications - not the least of which is having to be up at 0415 for work the next day.

My time off changes week to week and sometime day to day. I travel an hour and 45 mins just to get to SA. So the closer the better.

Who wants to try again for a M&G? I'll be in SA Monday and Tuesday. We can meet any place but Bigz on Monday (they are close as we found out last time) or do Bigz on Tuesday. Chime in with your choice.

We have been traveling and havent had any bike time but will be hitting Texas pride BBQ on thursday night and Hidden falls for some dirt riding and camping this weekend....I think tonight we will lay low and rest up...
