DAL/FTW: Tarrant County 8/14 M&G&E 7:29 PM

While driving through downtown Arlington yesterday, I noticed a Mellow Mushroom on Center Street near Babe's.

Anybody interested in trying it out on Tuesday evening?

I might even try to make it...

other suggestions welcome, of course...

Our friends really like the one in FtW. Sadly, I can not make it. I guess I could go but Marcy might get upset if I just left her at the airport.

I really like the Denton location!!!

Google says THIS is the map location but in streetview, I don't see the place.......

I think that's it (thanks!) - it is new and probably not on the street view...

I don't see the new Twisted Root or Flying Fish either...

The Mellow Mushroom sounds too much like the 60's for me to pass on this one. Do we wear tie dye?

Home and even dry. Don and I may have out smarted the storm. Stayed down low until 35w then turned North. I think we went around the back side of it. I only got sprinkled on.

I was not dressed for dinner correctly but for the ride home the air jacket did fine. No Rain. However it was a temperature roller coster, As I left the Mellow Mushroom the temp was 95 and as I went south on Cooper the temp went up to 100 just south of UTA and then as I turned west on I-20 it started down again and got as low as 89, Then south on I-35 it started back up and in Burleson it was 98 again. But Dry. It looked like the north bound traffic was in for some wind and rain though.

I did well while Rich was with me.....

Around Texas Motor Speedway the rain really started coming down. The good news is the small windscreen did a great job keeping it off of me.

I didn't actually feel any moisture until I caught four cars side by side, two deep and two wide. They were moving in unison at 45mph.............

Their road spray was going everywhere. That is when I began to feel "wet".

Topped off the tank (my usual routine) and got 48mpg today. Nice.

It was great to get out and I really enjoyed the ride home!!!

Great to see everyone!!!!

Especially Dail Harris, my riding hero!!!

I'm glad it worked out for You!!!

As much as I love the Bonneville, not having a bike at all prompted me to go shopping and I find that I love this Tiger as much or more.

Like the Bonneville, this is a very low mileage bike as well!!!
