I had a great time. I got some good info about, hopefully, my next bike. Although tonight was an "ice cream" meet, I couldn't get enough of the Corn Fritters.

Re: Friday Night Ice Cream Bikes, 7:15 PM

I have a dilemma, I have been offered a new position at work as a dedicated on site tech at a customers location. it pays a buck more a hour, and I get a company vehicle of my own but it changes my days off from Friday and Saturday to saturday and sunday so I will no longer be able to make friday night ice cream.

Sounds like Leon is still on the late shift...

I'm out for this Friday, headed to Virginia again for my Uncle's memorial service...

Second shift but likely later than that.
The customer has equipment come in around 11:30pm or later quite regularly, and my regular quitting time is midnight so this change would very likely affect pie runs as well.

Do what makes ya happy. If the new spot makes you happier than your old spot then go for it. If it won't do anything for you except add an extra dollar an hour, then it is a much tougher decision.

Thanks. I was up there for my Aunt in June but didn't expect to be back this soon. Both were born in 1918, so a good, long run. There will be one more trip - both will end up in Arlington National Cemetery. Not sure when that will be yet.

Wow. I could only hope for a long life like that. Its crazy to think of all the things they have seen. The birth of auto, aviation, space, and computers. The world is nothing like the 'good old days' that they knew. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
