08' Husqvarna SMR510

Sold pending funds transfer Monday

2008 Husqvarna SMR 510 with 3400 miles $4200./ obo

Fuel injected, 4stroke, and factory street legal Supermoto! I'm the original owner with a clear Texas title in my name. Purchased new at Napalm Motorsports of Austin in April 08'. Aesthetically near perfect but some of the original vinyl decals are peeling up. However, they are expected to be replaced every few years. The tires are usable but a fresh set would be more confidence inspiring and recommended soon. Overall A excellent condition Supermoto with no mechanical issues. Completely sorted and ride ready! Husqvarna Power-Up Kit installed and fuel injection adjusted professionally by AF1racing. Motor is completely stock and original, this bike runs flawlessly! Oil changes made before scheduled interval and valves checked at recommended intervals. Will also include the Husqvarna-ibeat software and cable kit used for tuning and adjusting the fuel injection system. Less than 300 miles on new DID ERV gold chain and sprocket set. Also has a few other nice bolt-ons: CRG Roll-Click brake lever, Acerbis hand guards, SME bar and axle sliders, Arrow exhaust, extra oil filters, valve shim kit, stock mirrors, stock exhaust, stock front fender, turn signals, owners manual, etc.

Please contact me here on the thread or with a PM.

Thanks!

Emailed you but my emails get hung up in spam filters a lot so you might check there if you don't see it. I blame craigslist.

I've just turned 10k miles on this same motor, affectionately known as the Redhead Italian motor, which stopped being produced in 2010. It's a solid motor. Valve checks and adjustments do not require the cams to be removed, nice design.

Hey Jake! I remember riding with you out at the Bastrop trails. Your Husky
looked serious with that rally fairing and headlight! Thanks for the motor reliability info. certainly the best single I've twisted the throttle on

Re: 08' Husqvarna SMR510

This is a very nice bike and something I look forward to own someday or maybe the 630sm. I am not ready for this bad boy yet, since I have only been riding my little KLX250sf for 9 months and its my first bike.

Very nice bike.
I started to see some wear on the rear aluminum sprocket and decided to replace, thought a new chain wouldn't hurt either. I'm sure the old chain/sprocket could of gone much longer if needed. I can't remember the valve intervals exactly...I was on top of it early and have inspected them 3-4 times. Only changed one shim out on maybe the 3rd check. I seriously doubt you would need to change another, its pretty settled at 3400 miles. These motors are low maintenance and reliable considering their performance. The valves are easy to check and adjust...no need to remove the cam.

Thanks!
