The Darkside is not too bad.
Recently (well about 1000 miles ago) installed a Falken 205/50 on my FJR. So far the handling of the bike is nominal in comparison with a MC tire and a Car tire.

Don't know if the Falken is a run flat, but the side wall sure is stiff. Had to have the wife and daughter help get it mounted. Plus a lot of cussing to myself.

I agree it takes a lot more lean angle to scrap the pegs.

Only showing 857 miles, but the speedometer cable has been broken for a thousand miles. New one is supposed to be here early next week. He leaves for Dallas next week some time. We installed another 3.5 gal auxiliary tank.

Re: The Darkside is not too bad.
I did about 25k on a car tire on my VTX. Worked like a champ.

Re: The Darkside is not too bad.
No one can quote imperical data that says putting a car tire on a bike is dangerous, because there isn't any. However, both the bike and tire manufacturers say not to do it. What I do know is darksiders are very passionate in their defense of doing it! I say ride on if you are comfortable with it.

Re: The Darkside is not too bad.
How close are the sizes of the 180 MT and 205 CT? Clearance issues?
