Re: Pondering about a Crazy Bob’s pie run camp-out? (9/28 & 9/29)
It's looking to be a damp weekend.
It is too late for me to cancel Friday night and get any money back, but I was able to (and did) cancel Saturday night. So, the camp out is still on - Kinda. Friday is for sure, sites are already paid for, so might as well. If the weather holds there could be at least one night of gathering around the virtual fire pit and then grab some pie Saturday. Saturday looks like it might be too wet, but if not there are many sites reservations open and there should be no problem to stay another night for those that want to. I am going to bail, now that I have moved to the Canyon Lake area it is just too long of a trip with this high chance of rain. Sorry guys. I have three sites in my name already paid for. Hopefully some of you will be able to make it Friday night and throw some money (or beer, or wine) at me on a future camp out. So.. who is still going to show up Friday?

I'll be there Friday, and likely Saturday. Unless its a hurricane. I strongly doubt a burn ban will be in effect of it rains

I'll pay for my portion, just let me know. I am just in Sanger down the road, so if we get a group up there post and I may come by for a beer or a howdy.
Bob, maybe you could set up a PayPal and we can pay you in advance so if things like this happen you don't eat the full fee? Or, if one of us just wins the lottery and wants to ship some money off to you, you would have that going for you as well.

Rain chances have lessened. So maybe ...
I need to go to my old place in Valley Mills to pack up more crap anyway. So ... I'm going to head that way and see what the weather is looking like then. So I am now a maybe. Who else is going to make it for tonight?

Re: Pondering about a Crazy Bob’s pie run camp-out? (9/28 & 9/29)
I will definitely be visiting but not camping this time around after all. You will see me tonight! You have been warned...
Q is still on the injured reserve list. I think he just felt sorry for me and decided to have sympathy pains. As for the route, we've ridden almost all except Old Greenwood Road. Greenwood is a kind of neat place for a stop if you want one, by the way. Most of the roads are private so it's tricky to find fun stuff but 4010 is definitely hoot worthy. If it rains, you'll have a nice big splash at the end of Jim Christal near 156. One of my favorite places!!!See you this evening! Whoever you are... and I will definitely put in my share for the reservations tonight.

Re: Pondering about a Crazy Bob’s pie run camp-out? (9/28 & 9/29)
Whoops I think I made a mistake the sites I inadvertently reserved are the remiges I campsites I reserved are the primitive I can sites
I called and I was told that I could upgrade to sites with full hookups But that could only be done in person There are only 4 such sites available. Is there anyone that can get there early Before those sites are taken

Just found out the BEemerBob sites are water only. So, we won't be able to camp next to you guys like I planned this time.
I will have the mothership over in the full hook-up sites so come on by for a visit. In a perfect world it will be at Deer Run #63 but I will post the actual site after I get there. Anyways, there will be a dry spot if you need it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk when i should have been doing something useful

The lady I spoke with said the full hook up sites that she was talking about had enough trees to hang From
What time do you think you can get there

60% pft, it probably won't rain. I'll leave the rain fly at home.

Whoever gets there first, let me know if there is shelter or if I need to pick up a tarp and bring cordage and we can set up a flying gazebo

Official TWT campsite is Deet Run 75 with overflow into 74. At least for friday night. Still working on saturday night, they are full. We may all have to squeeze into 74, which has more trees anyway.
Hizzo--Negative on shelters. Still under Bob's name at the gate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk when i should have been doing something useful

Looks pretty open. I'll swing by wally world on the way out and see what I can pick up for a common area to stay dry. Camping sucks if everyone is stuck in tents

Re: Pondering about a Crazy Bob’s pie run camp-out? (9/28 & 9/29)
According to the weather forecast. It looks like the rain is not going to start until about 10 or 11 o'clock tonight. By then we will either be asleep or drunk and not care If we are getting wet
