Change of plans.... dog-wise that is.

For lunch the other day, I had one of Ken's English Muffin/Egg/Bacon/Cheese/Maple Syrup thinggies and it was awesome. Me thinks I'll have that again and that iced salted caramel concoction.

I've had this and it is really good. And I don't even need a bib with it. But I've been having dreams about a Chili Cheese Dog lately. Guess I better do what That Gravel Guy says and bring my bib. He can eat one and never get a drop on him while I have to use a knife and fork and still get messy.

In the interest of time, I'm going directly to Ken's today. Cheers.

Got back to town today and figured I needed to mow the front and back yards. Now if it rains tomorrow it won't be an absolute jungle next week. Today is my Monday at work, too.

Need to figure out if I messed up the spacing between the wheel and the ABS sensor up front. Went for a ride Tuesday (about 200 miles) and on the way back the brakes were kinda pulsating and I heard noise up front. Need to disassemble the front and check everything out. BTW, I got new tires put on Monday. I took the wheels off myself and took them in...

Good noon day crowd. Lunch was delicious and coffee at Ken's was even better as I got to test ride Robb's new used WR250R. It makes me miss mine a bit.

The friendly crowd was as usual fun and refreshing.

Take care folks.

Well, my shirt is spotless after a Chili Cheese Dog but I noticed someone else should have worn a bib. Now his lovely wife is going to know what he had for lunch.
Don't know about Billy's but sure a good crowd at Ken's. And a quality crowd I might offer. Some very nice bikes and a mint WR250R.

Re: New Meet Spot in Austin - Hot Rod Coffee Trailer

The veggie version of Ken's EM/E/B/C/MS was tasty. I washed it down with a mango smoothie. Desert was a big ol' chocolate chip cookie. It was a good sized group that filled up an entire picnic table and overflowed into some cushy lawn chairs. Nice viewing vantage point of some interesting two and four wheeled traffic on Burnet Rd.

Dave, in your toolkit there should be a little flat air-gap measurement tool. Sort of looks like a flat old school spark plug gap feel gauge. Find the ABS sensor on the fork arm and run the air gap tool between the sensor and the ABS ring. It should be snug, not tight. Adjust accordingly.

Also, check the brake fluid level. When you took off the wheels, you probably had to press the calipers back into their housings to get the discs to fit for reassembly. That might be worth looking at, but it should have corrected itself upon the first brake actuation cycle.

Figured out the front wheel bearings are disintegrating so no riding for a week or two until they get replaced. If I go to Billy's or Ken's this week it'll be in the truck.
