Riding plans this weekend 10-13 or 10-14

Just checking in to TWT and realized I missed a group at RRMT when I was there too! Who's riding this weekend? Looks to be spectacular/warm. Was planning on Trophy Club, but I could easily be convinced to go back to RRMT again. Just got my bike re-sprung for my weight and need to dial in the clickers a bit to handle the sand... so I may be a bit slower than some till I get them dialed in... still won't be fast but hopefully not too slow.

Re: Riding plans this weekend 10-13 or 10-14

I am headed to RRMT Friday afternoon and plan on riding Saturday from 8 AM until Approximately 2PM. I would ride longer, but I have to be at work by 4PM. I will be tent camping, most likely down by the streambed. If you're interested, please chime in on this thread, PM, or text me at 806-Four-Four-One-5818 so we can coordinate our plans.

Well, if my Saturday was free I would join you, but I think I have a kids soccer game...

BlackDog, chime in if you would be up for Trophy Club Sunday for a half day or so.

I kind have gotten to the point if im gonna take the time to load up and ride i would rather go to rrmt or crooked creek. Trophy club is ok, but i fear the headon out there when its crowded. When the vegetation dies and the blind corners are not so blind i like it a little better.

Two things:

1. My "honey do" list has gotten too long for me to head to RRMT this (Friday) evening. Instead, I will head out early Saturday morning arriving at 8 AM. If any of you guys would like to meet up in Gainesville for breakfast prior to riding... Braum's has some awesome breakfast burritos! PM me or text me at 806-Four-Four-One-5818

2. My wife will be out of town next weekend (10-20 & 10-21) I'm shooting for a full day of riding on the 21st. Weather permitting, I may even go up Saturday evening and set up the tent for a nice relaxing evening under the stars. If only I knew where i misplaced my covered fire-pit!

Hope to hear from some of you guys.

Understood and agreed. I just like the repeatability of the track to work on some fundamentals. With it being so much closer to home it makes for an easy decision when I only have a few hours to ride. I haven't been to any of the dedicated/groomed tracks around either. This is my last weekend to ride here until Nov as well so trying to ride both days without the 3 hour round trip to RRMT again on Sunday.
Headed to Smokey Mountain NP end of month for a little BRP and Dragon and hopefully some nice trail riding too.

Wanted to head to RRMT in the morning but just discovered I have a flat on the truck. Tire shop doesn't open until 8am and its 125 miles away so I'm out. Next weekend sounds doable though.
