Re: Crooked Creek Sun Oct 21st

Hi James:

Looks like my buddy Scott and I are going to come down on Sunday. What are the logistics as far as time and where to meet and such?

Are you going to give us the grand tour?

Thanks!

Rich

Having never been there, how will the worn out 606's on my WR250R work?

Re: Crooked Creek Sun Oct 21st

They should be fine, there is nothing real technical out there, just some really fun trails. Most are wide enough for 4 wheelers, but there are some single track, bike only trails that could be done on dual sport tires. My son rode my KTM 690 there and did just fine, just may not be able to go warp speed

The DR is apart right now. Got some parts and since I had the seat and tank off I figured I'd check valves and tweak a few things. So, have fun. I'll want to head out to ride up there in November for sure though.

I may be down there. I was going to ride RRMT Sunday, but I'm not getting much interest so I may head south instead.

Looks like me and the little JQueen will be there as well. We're not up to adult speed yet, but I may tag along for a ride while he takes a break. Of course if anybody wants to ride with us they are welcome.

Having never been there, where are we looking for to park when we get there?

Check in at the building we are in front of the building in the ghetto bus as boy calls it near some trees and picnic tables

Not a big area not hard to find
