SOLD!!!

An Aerostitch Road Crafter one piece suit in red with black accents...Mfg date in upper pocket 12/15/98.. size 50 L Custom with a 30 inch inseam. The suit was made for someone with a longish torso & short legs. The waist would fit about a 38-42" depending on type of liner if worn underneath. All armor is in place....zippers all work great. The suit has been hanging in the closet for the last 10 years at least.

I don't have the measurements of the suit's owner at the time it was made, but I'm 6'2" 47-48" chest 42" waist 32" inseam. I can almost fit inside the suit & zip it up but the body is just a bit too short for me...legs too. I would say a person who is about 6' with similar chest & 38" waist but a 30" inseam would fit fine. Jacket size would be a XL in most brands if their sizing runs pretty true. (Tour Master Firstgear Olympia)

The suit has been down on the right side & shows a slight bit of scuffing on the knee area. The fabric near the shoulder/upper chest shows some small signs of distress & will need some sort of repair (or a well placed embroidered patch).Otherwise..the right side fabric is just slightly discolored from the pavement/ground.(incl R/H sleeve/leg) The rear seat area also has slight discoloring. The rest of the suit is in fine condition & it could easily be worn as is for now...until a repair is made.

Man, that's exactly the size I need. Tempted, especially at that price, but it's red and my bike is blue.

1. Roadcrafters last forever. Are you ALWAYS going to ride a blue bike?
2. The contrast between the blue bike and the red suit will make you more visible to the cagers.
3. Paint a white star on your helmet and you're all set.

Just a further clarification on the suit's history...

The slight bit of damage done to this suit was back around 2000 when it's owner was learnin to wheelie at Keith Code's California Superbike School. OOPS!! The suit was "retired around 2002 after he quit roadracing & gave up long distance motorcycling at age 60.

Lemme see how many sizes I go up by the end of today. My RC 44S is a bit big on me but I plan on working hard today to fill that out. Not sure I can make it to this suit's size though.
