Drz400e dual sported for sale
Guys, I have to sell my baby to pay for a real baby... So, what I mean is I have to sell my carefully maintained DRZ 400e to fund the deductible for the medical bills related to the birth oft first child. This is a great opportunity to get a plated dirt bike. For those that know the legendary Drz 400 will appreciate this:
- custom suspension by MX tech - FMF exhaust - bash guards - applied tech custom triple tree and risers - trail tech vapor - fresh tires - extra set of wheels (no tires but for street if you want) - street legal - adult ridden and maintained - over sized pegs - key start (electric) - clear title - much more... Must see $2,500 firm, take it or leave it. This isn't the discovery channel so don't waste my time (or yours) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Sweet ride!
Mileage/hours? Congrats on the first rugrat!! It's fun when they get big enough to ride the Fiddys though

Has to be a 2000, or 2001.
The head has the cam chain capture screw in it.

Re: Drz400e dual sported for sale
That's what I was guessing from the plastics color. It not lighter yellow in newer years. That means it is the good E engine setup, not like the newer ones where it is the same as the S.

Re: Drz400e dual sported for sale
Sorry, been off the grid... yes 2001. It is the dirt version not the heavy street version. The automatic cam chain tensioner that was known to fail was replaced by a manual cam chain tensioner from thumper talk... this was purely preventative based on the standard DRZ lore and recommendation. Case protectors also, along with bash plate, etc. I have several gearing options but it is geared currently for woods riding, which is where it has been 100%. I have not had it on the road much at all. Comes with the second set of wheels (no tires but could be street setup), spare tube and kit in a fender bag. It has all the upgrades and is ready to roll. Along with all the original exhaust and plastics (light and cowl). Rear tire has one ride at RRMC on it and is otherwise new.

What weight/riding style is the suspension set-up for? That appears to be an after market tank and are there radiator guards?
