I'd rather deal with chilly over searing hot. So bring it! I can strip down only so much before turning into a dirty squid.
Plus gives us an excuse to build a bigger fire to keep warm.

I just submitted my registration via PayPal. However, there is a very good chance that I will not be in attendance for this event. I made a previous plan with my daughter for a daddy daughter weekend ride in the hill country on my ST1300. She is right now having some allergy issues. Who knows. If she decides she is too sick I may still show on my KLR. Anyway, I made the registration payment just to get the GPS tracks, especially the dirt ones, to do another day. I sent an e-mail to ghostrider1964@yahoo.com as instructed. Have a great ride weekend.

Thanks for registering.

Hey. If I could have a ride weekend with my kid, I might bring her. Plenty of paved roads and at 25 she could hold her own at the campfire. But yeah. probably not. I just get a few times a year and treasure them. Hope your kids allergies clear but if not , we'll have something for you and the KLR.

Oh I am so thinking about this, I just won't get there till Saturday at noon'ish and don't know if that will be enough time for the fee. If it wasn't raining on Friday I would come then but I really want to avoid rain as much as I can. I'm really, really thinking about this. Someone talk me into it.

Rain isn't too big of a deal for me. Its not quite as pleasurable as riding on a perfect sunny day, but riding anytime, especially this kind of location is better than a lot of other things I could be stuck doing...Plus I only saw like 30% chance of rain!

What makes you not want to ride in the rain? Safety concerns??

The Austin weather guy says it will just be misting type rain so once you are out on the highway, it should be much of an issue. I'm going to pack my rain jacket, but probably not full rain gear.

Last I checked the rain was Friday night.

Rain is no big deal anyway IMO. I'll pack rain gear for the extra layer if the temp drops before I'll pack it for actual rain.

GHost: knowing your penchant for speed and BMW's I only have one guess. Two guesses actually. Either you found a steal of a deal on an HP2 or it's the craziest superbike ever made.

Original Honey Badger vid is posted elsewhere for giggles.

Re: ROLL THE BONES III: BIGGER AND BETTER. October 26-28, 2012, Hamilton, TX

I did a TAT back in July and it rained 2 out of the 14 days I was out and those were the only days that sucked, and the only time I almost got ran over. Their calling for 60% down here in Houston on friday so i want to avoid it if I can. I'm going to keep watching the weather and may change my mind as their not sure when it's rolling through.

Nothing that exciting. Just a handlebar bag he picked up in the For Sale section.
