Ghost and Goblin Pie Run at Tiffany's - Ride Reports

It was a little cool this morning, but what a gorgeous day. Light turnout at Tiffany's, maybe 15 riders? Had a good time and a great ride....well except for coming up on the Alba Country Fest parade on 1799. Had to do a u-turn and re-route back to 80 thru Mineola to get to the Lake Fork Marina.

Man, have I said what a gorgeous day it is?

I agree. this was my first and not my last pie run. Thanks to Focus Frenzy for letting me follow him over and back. I enjoyed the conversations with those of you at lunch and parking lot.

Yes after the cool morning start it ended up to be a nice day. Good food and pie too. My daily special came with cake but I had a piece of Peanut Butter Pie. That didn't stop me from eating the cake though .

I had Peanut Butter Cream Pie, so now I know what heaven would be like.

by not keeping a eye on this section!! you missed a good peanutbutter pie and great company!

my day started with a unpleasant surprise, I had decided to man up (no electric heat) and ride my SV1K as it had not been on a pie run in way to long. I had rolled it out and started it up and had it warming up as I put my helmet on and was about to get on when I noticed a strong odor of gas. I looked down to see gas running down the side of the engine!!

fortunatly the finnicky carb on the ZRX decided to cooperate today.

Robin,

Good job with the photos and putting together that slide show with music. Enjoyed meeting everyone, conversation and lunch.

Thank you. Ridiculously, picking the music took almost as long as putting together the pix, including PhotoShop'ing most of them. I almost went with "Don't Pay the Ferreyman"

Re: Ghost and Goblin Pie Run at Tiffany's - Ride Reports

A bit nippy at the start of the ride, but especially perfect temps on the way back home and fantastic sunshine everywhere. I didn't have time to take any interesting routes though I did get to see two cars in front of me take each other out near LBJ and 35E in Dallas. Looked pretty minor. Chicken Fried Steak and Peanut Butter pie...Mmmm.

Thanks for the slide show Robin!

Thanks for your slide show. As usual, a very creative and well done slide show. Wish I could have made the Run.
