Hey RMAN, you like the MT-21 over the 606 for the front?

The MT21s are better on both ends of the Challenge. The compound seems softer and overall the tire seems more predictable than the D606s.

Hey Rman, Its almost time to tie an old sheet with "Californy or Bust" on the back of the trailer like the dust bowl Okies and head west.

What happens in Vegas get's posted on TWT.

The MT-21 front and 606 rear is a common combination. I'm currently running a D773 front (which I love by the way , great tire but not DOT) but I bought the DOT MT-21 specifically for the Barstow ride. I don't need to run into any problems at the tech inspection, better play by the rules as I hear they're rather strict in California.
Nothing against the 606 front but I've never owned an MT-21 so I thought I'd give it a try, it's about $15 cheaper too. I still have the 606 on the rear and I'm taking a spare 606 rear as well.
