No one was hurt - just shakin n' stirred a few times. I had a few slips myself. We did end the day with some bike damage and good thing we where near the parking area. Water cooled bikes will only go so far w/o water.

That must have been after I took off. I was in the ugly green explorer that honked at ya'll as you were loading up. I was taking the boys to lunch. Ya'll waved, but, you know...

The gasgas found itself in a monster rut tossing its rider into a cartwheel and about 15 feet away from the bike. A busted water hose resulted from it.

There are quite a few ruts out there. I separated my shoulder two years ago when I tried to get my front wheel to climb out of one. The wheel had other plans.

Sorry, no pic. I took one but the sun wrecked it. I'm good, sore left hip. Helmet did its job.
We where pulling out the rocks from the radiator and exhaust. When one of the rocks was pulled, green fluid started shooting out (just like pulling a nail out of a tire).
Rode the bike a mile to the parking area, no problems.
I was really surprised that the forks and other area where ok. The radiator guard I just installed worked very well.

Stop this video at 3:08. The rut on Mike's left is the one Vinny dove into. We were coming up the hill, opposite the video.

Mike, I saw you at the gas station, I just thought I'd grab the empty pump and come over and talk after filling up, but I was too late.

I'm riding Sunday. I'll be at the trailhead at 8 and do a hot lap or two to get loose. I'll circle back to the soccer fields at 9 to pick up new riders. I turn into a pumpkin at noon and race home before the lady notices I'm gone.
