Well, the engine is back together, now working on a water pump leak. If I can get that repaired tonight I will see y'all in the morning (Jay, Dutch, I found the source of the coolant smell; a leaking mechanical seal around the impeller shaft. Coolant was slowly dripping on the exhaust where it would instantly vaporize, but leave the smell).

It was nice meeting the couple folks that showed up this morning in the cool weather.

Bill and I are in Mena. Its a balmy 46 degrees.

Not sure what happened to the ETX contingent but breakfast was outstanding - jalapeno ketchup on cheesy homefries... YUMMY!!

Yeah, I was looking forward to it, just couldn't get the bike put together in time. Probably out for this Thursday as well, my wife is out of town, so I have the kids

On a brighter note, as of right now the bike is back together, and it looks like all issues are resolved!

I was gonna make it out but woke up with a blinding headache, been fighting allergies the last couple weeks. Did manage to get in a short ride to check out the Guzzi Rally here in Lindale today.

It's that time again! The forecast is luverly for breakfast at the airport:

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62. South wind around 5 mph.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 81. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Where to ride after breakfast?

The fog was very thick on the ride out to the airport. Practically came into the parking lot on IFR (instrument flight rules

). Met up with Glenn, his new bride Betty (congratulations again to you guys), and Jeff. Good food, better conversation, enjoyed it.

Yeah, y'all be careful. The fog was pretty bad this morning heading into work. Sadly, I will be missing again. Its all good though, going to a Christmas thing with the family. Hopefully I can at least get a mountain bike ride in tomorrow afternoon.
