I have been following a thread over on ADVRider about a new high tech fuse box that someone has put together and I just wanted to highlight it over here in great site..

He's been at this for almost a year now and it is going to hit Kickstarter in the near future. It crashed off of my "I NEED THIS" list about 200 features ago, but it just keeps going higher on the "I WANT THIS" list.

His website is http://www.motobrain.net
He's also on FaceBook

Check him out. I'll certainly be in line when the kickstarter campaign starts.

Very cool!

A friend forwarded this to me on Friday.
It's a bit more that I need for a bike, but would fit very nicely with my dream of upgrading the dash on the GL1100 to a custom built one.

I'll more than likely be funding on Kickstarter.

Buying a normal fuse box, the relays and switches to make it all work would be at least 75% of this cost and likely wouldn't get you even half the functionality.

Then add in a couple of PWM heated clothing controllers and it seems like a bargain (that's how I justified it !!)

Put this one in the big "Dang! why didn't I think of that" file. Very cool especially the PWM feature.

A Canbus bypass for the Canbus system.

It is way more than I need, but a cool gizmo none the less. The only electrical farkle I have added to the RT that doesn't wire directly in, is a $7 pigtail to the battery for a Gerbings vest.

I'm in the market for a fuse block, but all I need is three leads of always on power with fuses. So I'm probably not the type of guy he is trying to sell to. I do wish him the best of luck though.

I have used Eastern Beaver's Three Circuit Solution this with good results:

Much easier to hide than a fuse block. They make one for the Tenere too.

He needs 100 more backers to make this happen. Spread the word.
