They make them for the Givi tailbags as well, not sure about the Coocase, but I do see that they have a universal kit as well. Here's an example of how they work on the trunk of an ST1300 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MARIuHkNSWM

Re: Givi trunk questions
I have about 5/8" clearance between the Yosh and the Givi. I loosen everything up and wedged a piece of wood in there and tighten it all back up again to make sure I was getting all the clearance I could. I also bought a piece of crushed aluminum insulation and will install it on the bottom between the exhaust and the Givi box in that area. And not put anything that might melt in that area of the case. I really did a fine job on my shower kit on my BMW once by putting it too close to where the exhaust was running. You just can't believe how much of a mess deodorant makes. ;-(.

Re: Givi trunk questions
I could of bought the tail box with them but decided not to. Maybe in the future I'll light everything up back there. Thanks for the link. Interesting.

Re: Givi trunk questions
It's amazing how close one's muffler can sit to the bottom of the side-case and NOT damage anything..... on the other hand, cross that threshold and 'stuff' happens! My case actually rested on the muffler and stood up quite well to the heat for a couple rides, until I discovered the smell of melting plastic.
I bought some aluminum stock with pre-drilled holes (of the perfect size), tin-snipped it to about an inch and a half long (with MUCH effort), then rotated my midpipe to the desired angle to get the muffler away from my bag and VOILA! I now have plenty of clearance and no need for that aluminum tape/BandAid that I layered to the underside of my bag. ------------------------------ The Suzuki/Givi mounting hardware provides a place to mount the factory turn signals; it's not swoopy doopy looking but it works. However I find that kit that utilizes the Givi red lenses for signals, made available through Twisted Throttle, really sexy. But one should want to commit keeping the bags on full-time.... not that there's anything wrong with that, I do. ------------------------------- If time & money permits, my dream is to do the following: I would like to replace my factory Suzuki luggage mounting hardware (all of it) with SW Motech's hardware. It snugs the bags SIGNIFICANTLY closer to the bike, not only looking better but making it easier to swing a leg over without kicking the bags with your foot. The added bonus is that stripping the bike of it's bags, leaves NO TELL TALE SIGNS of luggage hardware that distracts from the cosmetic appeal of a naked bike! I would like that kit that converts your bags' red lenses to turn signals. A clean job of using weather-proof plugs to the bags would be added so I could plug into some swoopy doopy looking turn signals mounted on the bike for those occasions I want to ride naked (the bike silly, not me). For another hundred bucks, I would hard-wire a "Signal Minder" into my turn signal switch. It provide LOTS of cool features to include.... turning your front AND rear signals into full time running lights (bright, dim, or you can opt to turn it off altogether), it incorporates a self-canceling feature into your signals (set to your desired canceling interval), and a QUICK flash signal option for those sudden last minute decisions to turn (just hold the signal down longer). I had the old Signal Minder version without as many features on my BMW and LOVED it!

Re: Givi trunk questions
I have some flush mount LED turn signals coming in later or sooner to replace all mine. Twisted Throttle sent the bracket with instructions to mount the stock turn lites off the tail light but I will wait on the flush mounts.
