As many Motorcycles magazines and riders have agreed, the SV 650 is one of the Classic bikes to either begin riding on so you do not get in over your head while learning to carve the hills Central Texas or for the seasoned rider who wants a super fun affordable track bike!
This was my first bike and has treated me very well but it is time for her to move on to a new owner. The time is perfect for spring riding!!!! This is a 2005 SV 650 that is set up for Hill country carving fun! Ducati Monster Handle bars for throwing the bike side to side, Motovation sliders for Protection, Brand new battery with transferable warranty for the next year, New Michelin Pilot power tires that want to be on their side looking for the next corner. Body mods that help her look way better than a motorcycle dragging a burlap sack license plate holder include a Hot Bodies LED tail light assemble and pan, with CRG Bar End mirrors (if you are just starting then we can work on getting you some of the original mirrors so you do not break the bar end mirrors when the bike tips over in the parking lot. Ask me how I know ...). Okay this SV650 has 17,482 Miles on her. Because I have taught my now wife on this bike there are several imperfections along with my additions yet none of them were due to any amount of speed. They were stationary drops. There is the classic SV650 dent on the tank from the handlebar on the riders left side, Some scuffs under the seat pan above the rear wheel and where something dropped on the pipe and made a 1” dent while it was parked in the garage. The Bike has been Adult owned its entire life. Here are the Legals: Clear title in Hand Cash in hand for test rides – you drop it it is yours Motorcycle license for the test rider – No exceptions Riding up on another motorcycle to come see the bike will make me much more relaxed Once again this SV 650 Hill Country carver is set for $3750 OBO Cheers, Darin 512.796.9384 ![]() ![]() ![]()

Hey JT,
As to the Fly screen, it has been on the bike since I bought it and I have seen others with it so I do believe it to be OEM. It fits Perfectly and can be removed for a Very Naked look but the lack of a shield will slow you down a bit ![]() Darin Last edited by ATXGSA; 03-04-2010 at 12:13 PM. Reason: My spelling sucks |

Darin, Thanks for that info. Will look to see if it might work on a project I have.
