Re: XR650L OWNERS SIGN IN

Nope, not for sale, too much fun. I bought it as a commuter bike to keep the miles off the KLR. I do the opposite, the XR gets preped for the bigger trips. I have 3 Jeeps, WJ 4" and 33"s, TJ 2" and 33"s, LJ 4" and 42"s.

Last time I was riding in Mexico with these guys, I bottomed out so many times that I broke one of the frame mounts for my skid plate, that's when I decided I needed more ground clearance.

Just the first time in a long time it was clean enough for a pic.
Nice tire iron placement, nicer headlamps.

Re: XR650L OWNERS SIGN IN

2 more irons under the headlight, slime compressor in stock headlight location, patches and such in ziplock bag in airbox. If I have it, hopefully I won't need it. Still have some vacant space around the R skid plate for more stuff. Need to tuck my tubes somewhere and fit the wrench that fits the axle nuts. The goal is to have the bike carry everything it needs for maintenance and repairs at all times. Then I just load specifics in my bag for each trip.

Uh yeah, I ride everyday, Maybe not the 650 but ya know what they say,... "A farmers work is never done." and "Don't say $^#* about a farmer with your mouth full"? Well.... Me and my TW "work " vehicle.

Me and nephew John will probably ride the 650 to La Grange tonight to see Robert Earl Keen at the Fayette County Fair.
