Hey Jason,
The Arai helmet is a used helmet and the inside does have some wear. My head does not sweat that much, so I wouldn't say it's funky. The liner on this helmet is removable and washable. I've hand washed it once and it cleaned it pretty well. I'm going to wash it again today. You may see pictures at the link below. https://picasaweb.google.com/1063548...eat=directlink

Re: FS: Klim Dakar pants (34), Arai off road helmet (L), Shoei street helmet (XL)
I've received some inquiries about the Arai helmet, but have not sold it to date. Here's a little more info.
I bought the helmet used to wear on a dirt ride to big bend this past February. I have no idea how much use it received prior to my ownership. When I bought it, it already had some scuffs on the side. The owner said that it had never been crashed, but who knows. To me it appeared to be structurally sound, so I bought it. After I bought the helmet I washed the inner liner and it cleaned up nicely. The foam and material are still in good shape. I used the helmet in big bend over 4-5 days. I've used it for 3-4 rides around Austin since. So, I've only used the helmet less than 10 times. It is a used helmet so it is not pristine. I bought the helmet for pure dirt riding so it served it's function for me. I've received some interest in the helmet, but it is still for sale. I'm thinking about lowering the price to $75 if that makes a difference. Thanks for the interest. Troy
