You can still use the embed code with the gmap tag, which does show a larger map. I think there is a way that I can edit the embed settings for the Google maps to make them larger and still not need the gmap tags.

I replaced the [ ] around the URL tag at the beginning and end with ( ) so you could see it and the forum software would not process the tags. The bolded part is all that was pasted into the post. All the other stuff was added automatically by the forum software.

I replaced the [ ] around the GMAP tag at the beginning and end with ( ) so you could see it and the forum software would not process the tags.

The difference in the two methods is that the first is simply using the link to the map taken from the map page. The second method is using the HTML embed code taken from the map page. With the link, you should not have to do anything other than paste the link into the post and the forums software handles all the embedding and formatting. With the HTML embed code, you have to wrap it all with the GMAP tag.

Paste HTML to embed in website and put at the front[gmap) and the end of the code [/gmap] but with [] on both and not ().

I assume you are referring to post #30.

I did exactly that in one of the many attempts to get it working.

Try it with my link.

Maybe the issue being that my link is a HTML file that is an interactive map but not coming from the Google servers? Instead it is in my drop box downloaded as a file.

I don't think it is you. I can't make it work either. I think maybe Google changed the way the map links are setup. I have posted a request for help on the forum where the Mod that handles these automatic embeds is downloaded. I will post up here when I find out anything. Sorry for the inconvenience.
