I was lucky the GS slowed him down enough I could stay with him. I can't wait to go again, such great fun. Had a blast out there with the 2 Daves and Mitch.

Thanks for posting Mitch. It was fun.

After riding the WR450 all morning, that GS felt a bit huge but I was honestly surprised at how well it did. I did have one moment where I forgot it was a 500 pound bike and tried to stop it like my WR and almost lost the front when it locked up in the mud. But...it recovered once I let off the brakes a bit.

It certainly wouldn't be my first choice for a day of riding stuff that twisty or tight, but it is good to know it can do it in case I'm ever out on an ADV ride and get into a section that is a bit tighter.

Thx for videoing me Doug. I didn't realize how much I was slowing you down in the corners until I watched it. The GS does corner a bit slow. (or at least it does when I'm the rider as I didn't really trust the edge grip too much)
