Austin to RTB Rally

Hey guys.

I'm planning to attend the Roll The Bones rally in the coming weeks and I'm planning to ride from Austin to Possum Hollow Camp in Graham, TX.

I'm looking for suggestions of a more scenic route northwest other than taking the highways. If alone I'd probably prefer pavement over dirt, but if people join I'd do dirt roads as well.

It looks like if I stay out of the freeway roads I'd do fine but I know some of you most have some nice recommendations.

I'll look for the route I took up to the Possum Trot rally a few years ago. That was the same headquarters location. I suspect I ran 183 out to 16 and 16 up to 180. Took 180 over to Caddo and then 33 north which turns into 3253, right on 1148 to the HQ.

If anyone wants some dirt roads ‘twixt Austin & PK, I know a couple. But you need a coupla extra hours.........
