Water was coming in the door when we left last night. Clear Creek came up in a hurry! Hope the new Duc is enjoying the water.

We were evacuated this morning, sitting in the Red Cross shelter inside the Methodist Church on 518 and South Shore Blvd.

Hang in there Chad. We made it to an extended stay place on Bay Area. I waded back to the house this morning. Could not get close enough to know damage, but it's definitely under water.

Hoping we can make the second story livable.

Re: Clear Lake Bike Night Wednesday

This is a BAD one. And it's still not over. We're hanging in here so far, but pics and stories from all around the area are dire.
Glad ya'll got everyone out.

Re: Clear Lake Bike Night Wednesday

We made it to Karen's, so we don't have to spend the night in the shelter.

Re: Clear Lake Bike Night Wednesday

Anyone have a canoe near Nassau Bay? Had to give up the one we borrowed yesterday. We were in and out too quickly to do much more than gather food.

Re: Clear Lake Bike Night Wednesday

Thanks to those who have reached out about canoe/kayak use. We decided to not risk going back to the house until the water has drained from inside.

Re: Clear Lake Bike Night Wednesday

Sorry to hear about all the flooding. It's one of the worse things that can happen just because of the mess it leaves behind. Hope the water goes down soon.
