How people can ride these beasts in REAL offroad situations and survive! This guy is racing Open B today in an enduro in Louisiana. Just checked, he's last in class, but still going strong after last check. What's sad, I've got a couple of friends there on "proper" dirt bikes and he's ahead of them in the overall so far. Amazing.

"Jason McMillen 26A B Open KTM 10 87 21m 23s 914
(87) 32m 17s 689
(85) 50m 32s 301 "

87 out of a 110, but he's still going, amazing.

There's a reason why I don't venture past your run-of-the-mill camp road or forest service road on my VStrom. For real trails, I'd prefer to be on something about half that weight, thank you very much.

So that one weighs 473 lbs and he riding in that?

Yes sir and finished! My friends who were there, said there was a ditch about a 100 yards from start. Dude it full steam and bottomed out, came out of it sideways and snapped back the other way fully and saved it! Rode off like nothing to it! Not for me, but hats off to him.:eek2:

I know that ditch well, he may be talented but he also has a very talented Guardian Angel.

....and then he rode the bike all the way home too right?
